We are thrilled to support Dr Zhao’s innovative research, which represents the calibre of investigator-led work that drives progress in pulmonary fibrosis.

We will have more information on how the PACT Award funding will support Dr Zhao’s exciting project coming soon!

This competitive grant, valued at up to AUD 30,000, supports high-quality, investigator-initiated clinical research aligned with PACT’s mission to facilitate high-quality Australasian clinical trial activity in pulmonary fibrosis, thereby maximising local capacity for the development of therapies that reduce morbidity and mortality and enhance quality of life for people living with pulmonary fibrosis.

The PACT Grant-in-Aid provides crucial seed funding to generate pilot data, strengthen current studies, or build momentum toward securing larger external funding.

Collaborative studies are particularly encouraged, reflecting PACT’s commitment to fostering research partnerships across Australasia.
